4-Week Small Group Leader Guide

WEEK 1

The Gospel & God's Ownership

Primary Objective: Shift group mindset from worldly ownership ("My Money") to biblical stewardship ("God's Money").

Scripture Passages: Psalm 24:1, Matthew 25:14-30 (Parable of the Talents).

Small Group Discussion Prompts:
  1. How does recognizing God as owner change your emotional response to market volatility or unexpected bills?
  2. What is the difference between worldly wealth management and biblical stewardship?
WEEK 2

Breaking Free From Debt

Primary Objective: Guide participants to build an actionable Debt Snowball payoff schedule.

Scripture Passages: Proverbs 22:7, Romans 13:8.

Small Group Exercise:

Have participants open the Debt Snowball Worksheet and order their non-mortgage debts from smallest to largest balance.

WEEK 3

Zero-Based Budgeting & Cash Flow

Primary Objective: Teach households to assign every dollar a purpose before the month begins.

Scripture Passages: Proverbs 27:23, Luke 14:28.

WEEK 4

Kingdom Generosity & Legacy

Primary Objective: Inspire cheerful giving and multi-generational stewardship.

Scripture Passages: 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, Proverbs 13:22.
